Hi, I’m Clare — the owner and director of Clare’s Learning Club. We’re a team of four qualified, experienced teachers offering dedicated 11+ tuition for Year 4 and Year 5 children in the Sevenoaks and Dartford areas.
I’ve been teaching since 2007 and have consistently received outstanding feedback throughout my career. Before founding Clare’s Learning Club, I worked as a full-time teacher, Head of Department, and leader of the Primary Transition Team, collaborating closely with local schools to support children moving into secondary education.
After stepping back from full-time teaching to focus on my young family, I began running small after-school clubs in 2012. What started as a handful of pupils has grown into a thriving, supportive community where children build confidence, develop skills, and achieve fantastic results in the Eleven Plus exam.

Our Clubs
Our popular after-school sessions run in Otford, Farningham, Dartford, and Riverhead. Each club is carefully structured to include:
- Personalised teacher support — plenty of one-to-one attention within small groups
- Engaging, confidence-building activities that make learning enjoyable
- A varied weekly programme covering Maths, English, Verbal, and Non-Verbal and Spatial Reasoning

All our club teachers hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), have current enhanced DBS checks, and carry full professional insurance.

Year 5 Mock Eleven Plus ExamsSaturday exam days to help children feel more prepared when entering the exam room. Exam coaching on the day. You receive detailed written feedback for each test sat.

Purchase 11+ Mock PapersMaths, English and Verbal Reasoning Papers to purchase and sit at home. Options available - self mark or send back for teacher marking and detailed feedback.
